Good Friday and Easter at First UMC of San Fernando

Greetings, Church family.

This week is Holy Week, the last week in Lent, culminating in the ancient celebration of our Lord Jesus’s resurrection. On Palm Sunday, we learned how Jesus’s march into Jerusalem showed different kind of Kingdom, a heavenly kingdom on earth of Peace, Love, and Courage. This Sunday, Easter Sunday, we’ll celebrate Love Rising, Love conquering death– but first, we have to remember the crucifixion. Please join us for all our Holy Week events, listed below.

Remember always, God loves you! That is the ultimate reason for Jesus’s incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection– to reunite us with God’s love.

In Christ’s love,
Pastor Sandie
