Head Pastor

Pastor Jennifer is a lifelong Christian who said yes to God's call to Pastoral Ministry when she was only 16 years old. She has been a United Methodist Pastor since she graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary in 2007, and was Ordination by the West Ohio Conference in 2007. She has served a variety of congregations, always passionate about and innovating ways to move out into and serve alongside the community. She has most loved teaching relational evangelism and creating innovative Fresh Expressions of Church. These have included ministries such as: "God's Diner,"  "Joyful Neighbors," "Cardboard Kids' Club," and "Mobile Makerspace Ministry." She looks forward to your innovative ideas for connecting with and blessing our community!
In 2023, Pastor Jennifer moved to So-Cal to be closer to her husband John's father and family, and in July 2025 we welcomed her to First UMC San Fernando and Glenoaks Christian Schools! They have three children: Micah (2014), Malea (2017), and McKenna (2021).

Tirzah Vasquez is a lifelong Christian and has served as a teacher and principal for many years. Under her steady leadership, the school works to create lifelong learners and disciples of Jesus Christ. Our students are known not only for academic excellence, but for their kindness and community spirit.

Martha Veloz and her devoted teachers create a nurturing environment where children flourish through play, learning, and age-appropriate faith development. They foster growth in academics, social skills, and spirituality, ensuring each child feels valued and supported on their journey.
